  • Become a GREAT Manager

    Do you shy away from using the word “manager” when thinking about your new or aspiring role? People often do this because it's rare to have the space to pause, zoom out, and think deeply about what this means and what effective management looks like. In this training geared toward new and aspiring managers, we will unpack what it means to manage others and why it’s important to have a strong vision for our role. By anchoring to a framework for what great managers do, participants will walk away having developed a strong vision for who they want to be as a manager. We will learn tangible and applicable moves that will allow us to lead confidently and effectively, while centering the people we lead. And the best part? We’ll have fun as we learn together. Join us!

  • Leading Engaging and Effective Meetings

    You can learn a lot about any organization by observing what takes place in meetings. Meetings are an ingrained and essential structure to get work done, and they also are a key driver for the team's culture. So why have we all experienced meetings that are unproductive, boring, or lead to the dreaded "meeting after the meeting"? Why have we all likely led some of those meetings ourselves? In this workshop, we'll examine how meetings relate to and foster (or damage!) an organizational culture. We'll examine common traps that we can fall into when planning, executing, and participating in meetings and how our approach to meetings impacts productivity and inclusivity for our teams. By discussing and experiencing high impact strategies, participants will walk away with tangible tools to use as they plan and facilitate their meetings as soon as the very next day! Let's work together to make our meetings more purposeful and effective so that our teams thrive.
